Kevin E. Taunton, Principal, The Taunton Brokerage, has 30 years of corporate accounting and financial services with primary focus on individual and group benefits for the most recent 16 years.  After achieving his CPA certification and climbing the ladder of corporate accounting for more than 15 years, Taunton bounced his head off the ceiling a few times and became aware of two things.  He would not likely reach his financial goals, nor would he ever be in control of his own destiny.  Since 1993, he has dedicated himself to helping individuals and small business owners protect their families and employees against the uncertainties of life.  In pursuit of that goal, he became a full service insurance broker.  His primary area of focus has been employee benefits (medical, dental, life, disability).  Unlike many contracted agents who push one insurance company on their prospective clients, he has acquired many carrier appointments and does not advance any one over any of the others.

Taunton graduated from Auburn University, Auburn, Alabama, with a B.S. (major in accounting). He is a licensed CPA and insurance producer in New Jersey holding life, health and property/casualty authorities.  The Taunton Brokerage is an active member of the Morris County Chamber of Commerce.  Kevin and his wife Janice live in Morris Township, New Jersey with their three boys.
